Navigating Towards SDGs: Green Navigation Embarks on The Arch in Málaga

Green Navigation, our weather routing solution, recently had the opportunity to meet with The Arch in Málaga, Spain. The Arch is a European event that aims to accelerate ecological transition through a series of 10 stopovers across Europe. These stopovers symbolically embark 100 solutions for the planet and bring together key actors in the sustainability space to promote the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

The Arch’s visit to Málaga was met with great enthusiasm by the city’s representatives, including Francisco de la Torre Prados, who welcomed the event at the Ayuntamiento de Málaga’s Salón de los Espejos. This event provided an excellent opportunity for The Arch to meet with their partners and explore Spanish solutions, with Green Navigation being one of them.

Green Navigation’s weather routing solution plays a crucial role in promoting the ecological transition in the shipping industry and contributing to the achievement of SDGs. By optimizing vessel routes based on real-time weather and ocean conditions, Green Navigation helps reduce fuel consumption and GHG emissions, thus contributing to the ecological transition that The Arch aims to accelerate and the achievement of SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water).

The meeting between The Arch and Green Navigation highlights the importance of collaboration and partnership in driving sustainable solutions. By working together, we can create a more sustainable future for our planet and ensure that ecological transition is accelerated across Europe and beyond. The Arch’s visit to Málaga was a great opportunity for Green Navigation and other sustainability actors to come together and showcase their solutions. As we continue to work towards a more sustainable future, partnerships and collaborations will be key in achieving our shared goals.
